Our Province is pleased to welcome Fr. Suresh Nayak from Mary Matha Province, Andhra-Telangana-Odisha, India, who will be sharing in our ministry. Fr. Suresh has been assigned to the Ministry of Caring in Wilmington, DE.
Fr. Peter Napoli, O.F.M.Cap. was called home to the Lord March 25th surrounded by his Capuchin Brothers. He was born July 26, 1945 and ordained June 9, 1973. He was invested with the Capuchin habit on August 30, 1964. He was stationed at St. Lawrence Friary in Beacon, NY. Please pray for the repose of his soul.

Our Provincial Fr. Remo is in Frascati, Italy attending a meeting of newly elected provincials. We pray for him and wish him well in his meetings. It will be a great time to experience the universality of our Capuchin Order as new provincials will be coming from all over the world.
Fr. Vincent Fortunato and Fr. Francisco Arredondo have been called to Rome by our Holy Father Pope Francis to celebrate the Feast of Mercy. Both of these friars were designated as Ministers of Mercy during the Jubilee Year of Mercy. All those priests and religious throughout the world gathered in Rome to open the Year of Mercy are now once again gathered to reflect on this great gift of God.
Our Province is pleased to welcome two new friars from India who will be sharing in our ministry. Fr. Dasu Prathipati arrived February 20th and has been assigned to Immaculate Conception in the Bronx. On March 8th Fr. Praveen Kumer Turaka arrived and has been assigned to Immaculate Conception in Hendersonville, NC. We welcome these brothers as part of our colaboration with Mary Matha Province, Andhra-Telangana-Odisha, India.

Today, September 3, at our International College 'San Lorenzo da Brindisi', the General Chapter of the Capuchin friars elected as General Minister of the Order Br. Roberto Genuin from the Province of Venice. The term of the election is six years.
The new Minister General with his Council
