On Saturday, November 12th, Sister Death came to our brother Stan Kobel.  Fr. Stan has been in our infirmary at St. Lawrence Friary in Beacon, NY for the past couple of years.  Prior to that he served in a number of positions in the Province at Ministry of Caring in Wilmington, DE, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Passaic, NC, St. Thomas Aquinas, Charlotte, NC and St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, NJ.  Fr. Stan was known for his gentle spirit and compassionate way with the people he served.

January 19th at 12:30, our brother Achilles Cassieri embraced Sister Death at St. Lawrence Friary in Beacon.  Achilles was born December 28, 1926.  He was invested with the Capuchin habit on July 23, 1944 and made his Perpetual Profession of vows on August 2, 1948.  He was ordained a priest May 14, 1952.   May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace.
