The Church of St. Ann in Hoboken
held a May Dinner Dance at The
Landmark in Rutherford, NJ on May
16, 2010 to celebrate the 100th
Anniversary of the Feast of St. Ann.
The Feast of St. Ann is a festival that for
the past 100 years has been held as a
street festival to celebrate the
devotion to St. Ann. Italian
immigrants to Hoboken over a
century ago created and built a
parish in honor of St. Ann. In
celebration of their great
achievement in completing their
church, they threw a celebration and
have held a feast every year since.
This Dinner Dance was held to
officially open the celebration of the
feast that will culminate on July 26th
for the Feast of St. Ann in Hoboken.
